Description of Carter M4862 Mechanical Fuel Pump

Built to meet or exceed OEM fit and reliability and 100% factory tested and approved. Ideal for vehicles with low pump pressure between 4 to 6 PSI. Less susceptible to contaminates because its located outside the fuel tank. In-Line pumps are driven by the camshaft, which effectively transfers fuel from the tank to the carburetor.

Amazing Fuel Pump for My Car

i was a bit skeptical at FIRST but this mechanical fuel pump exceeded my expectations! Based on my observations, it improved my car's fuel efficiency and performance by a noticeable margin. Its durable construction ensures it will last a long time... However, installation was a bit tricky and required the help of a professional. Overall a great automotive product that I highly recommend..

Old school quality fuel pumps and accessories

This is so much more than cheap Holly POS I can't believe it. I took Carter after 30 years and took Holly. my hand. Castings are thin, like peppers. Carter is back.
