Got these parts today to try as they were a pretty decent price

I carve a lot of rocks. Got these parts today to try as they were a pretty decent price. Well I was thrilled with the results. With my other essays, my cave paintings each take about 6 hours. It took me 45 minutes to do the exact same job with these beats. Wow. I will buy this again.

Pros
  • Quality construction

Better value than the Dremel brand and great quality

Very happy with these bits. Great price and seems to be holding up well. I have used other diamond coated bits for grinding stones and although I use water with them as I should, the coating came off too quickly. I didn't have that problem with these. I used one of the cylinders to grind down a large piece of stone and after I could barely tell it had been used. impressed.

VERY GOOD BIT ASSORTMENT! ! !

I have been making wood, ivory and coral pendants for many years and have many Dremel accessories. Only recently have I decided to try my hand at stones and crystals. I've also been doing freehand Old English calligraphy since the 80's. I hope these beats will help me to work with them both. There is definitely a VERY GOOD selection of bits in the set that appear to be very well made. I will update after my first part is done.

  • Easy to install

Good for beginners to cutting tools

This is my first time using a rotary tool and I have used it to carve rocks I found in my driveway. Regular bits work fantastic, but diamond tipped bits wear out almost instantly, which makes me wonder if they actually have diamonds in them. Disk bits work well too. Not sure if I should use them for cutting rocks but they work for that. Haven't tried the polish yet. All in all it was a great start for a beginner like me and I think I'll learn a lot from them before I have to buy anything…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

I carve, polish and sell various types of stones from decorative bookends to healing crystals. It was a pleasure to discover the ultimate collection of rotating tool bits! Until I started using it on the softer rocks I had as test pieces, the bits quickly wore out, bent, or deformed. I've been using rotary tools for years, so I've used buffing sand, wet/dry sanding and carving techniques, and the right bits in the right ways. However, I was very disappointed that I had to return the item as the

Sooo much better than the usual Chinese crap

I don't really know where they were made but it doesn't matter - they are WELL made. I used a point to cut a pair of agate cabochons (it's a very hard mineral!) and it still works like new. There is a visual difference from the used one, but I think it's just a metallic coating peeling off the tips of the diamond - it has a slight green cast to it. I've been trying to save a few bucks by buying port freight or cheap Chinese imports and let me tell you, do yourself a favor and get this instead…

Fire Agate Diamond Burs and Bits

Excellent value for money compared to phenolic or nova bits. The container was a bit odd, I have fat fingers, came in a blue cut box with a translucent lid. The bits were divided into three sections, it's hard to get one out without taking them all out first. No big deal. Great product, you have to use the whole bait by turning it back and forth to carry the bait evenly or if you only use the outermost half the back end will be grainier and less used but that can also have a nice side benefit…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Non-Automatic
