I bought these to reduce "tube rattle" and noise in my Fender DeVille 4x10 (tube combo amp). At first I admitted that I might have invested in larger tube shocks offered by other manufacturers, but the price forced me to experiment with them. So far I've run about 10 hours with two of these on each tube (2 6L6GCR) and the tube rattle has been reduced somewhat (I can still hear the rattle at lower volumes with a clean guitar input).
