🧳 Convenient and Sturdy 30" Extra-Wide Luggage Rack for Casual Home Review

Bought to put in a guest room when my elderly mum came to visit and she could put her suitcase on it and not have to bend down to her clothes all the time to grab. She loves it and I love it too.

We have a small guest room. It doesn't offer much space for furniture, but we didn't want our guests to have to put their luggage on the floor. This luggage rack is perfect for this purpose. It accommodates large luggage and allows our guests to climb into their luggage without squatting on the floor. It folds neatly and is stored in a closet between guests.

This luggage rack is ideal for large suitcases that previously had to be opened on the floor or bed. In particular, the large away case, which opens in the middle and has a large footprint, went well with it. Although the shelf doesn't reach the edges of the open suitcase, it provides more than enough support for each side. Finally, it folds easily for easy storage.

This luggage rack serves its purpose, but is a bit more difficult for larger suitcases. If you find a balance when opening and closing the case, everything works well. If you have a closet or wall that you can lean the top of the suitcase against when it's open, this works better than trying to balance the suitcase on it. Overall this is good as it raises the case off the ground making it easier to get to your belongings.

We have had two groups of guests since we bought this suitcase. Our guests say it works well. Our first guest had one large suitcase, the second had two carry-on size suitcases. In the latter both lay back to back on the frame. So far we are very satisfied. Plus, it folds up and easily fits in a closet. (If, like me, you order at the last minute, it arrives exactly on the promised date. That's important.)

This is a very solid luggage rack with a completely flat top allowing any size suitcase to be used without wobbling or tipping as it partially rests on the wide wooden parts and partially burys itself in the straps. When folded it's about 4 inches wide and stands on its own on the (closed) legs of the stand without having to lean against a wall.
