Description of Cat Mate Elite Door Wall Liner Compatible with All Cat Mate Elite Doors and Select Cat Mate Flaps

Each individual wall liner adds 2" to the framing of Cat Mate Doors. Creates a waterproof tunnel between the door and the other side of the wall. Paintable. Direct Fit for Cat Mate Elite Series model numbers 305 and 355. Can be used with Cat Mate 358, 359, and 360 doors (Cat Mate Adapter Kit ref. 361 required).

Not for cat flap

This wall covering attaches to the circular wall adapter kit, not the door itself. Revain does not sell the parts it connects to. Contact the company to find out your installation.

More than one may be needed.

It took three of these for the newly clad exterior wall. Two behind the wall to the garage where the trays are. Nothing is needed for the door. It has cutting lines that can be easily trimmed if needed. I used sealant to finish the sealing.

Must be bundled with cat flap.

Our garage wall is plastered on the outside and raw on the inside, only 11.4 cm and we still need this wall covering. In my opinion it should be in the original packaging. The product is of good quality and as described.

Could have been more for Cat doors, railings and steps

For a typical 2x4 stud wall you will need to buy 2 of these. Then during installation. The two I bought could have been 1/4 inch longer. The designer seems to have forgotten that the 2x4 walls are lined with plasterboard or other material. I did it, but it could have been better.

Not as advertised

According to this article: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096SWP1YV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this kit expands the take-and-go gate through the wall . According to the description of the wall covering, it matches the gate I tied. It does not fit. I had to glue the wall paneling to the gate so I could use it.

easy installs in Cat doors

Fits well, I was surprised to find out I need to buy more parts for my wall, it's a 2x6 wall and I just had to buy an extension cord, eh I thought. It was a longer piece and I cut it off when I came in and it wasn't enough, I wasn't really happy, they need to make that fact clearer. Maybe it's in the info, but I didn't notice it, just wanted to send it back, but it's easy to assemble and looks good

The quality is good, but the cat must think it has a built-in guillotine!

The door fits perfectly into my wall without any problems. I needed and bought two wall inserts that worked fine. The locking mechanism works well with the collar tag; No problems so far BUT my cat is still not used to the SOUND the system makes when unlocking. The cat refuses to even go through with this and ends up using various locations in our house as a new makeshift litter box.
