    Product works for cats

    Arrived quickly and exactly as described. I want more to come in one package at a time. I used both strips to cover just one corner of my sofa (folded on top of each other to cover the entire open corner). I will need at least 3 more packs to cover the other sofa corner and sofa corners. Also, the small twisted pins included to attach the product to the furniture will eventually come out and need to be screwed back in.     We have an adjustable Tempurpedic king bed. We don't have room to enclose it in a wooden frame. The base is made of soft fabric that our cats love to scratch, especially the corners!     Our cat tore the corners of our old sofa so I got them when we restored it and they still work for him. I think cats have different scratching habits.     These scratch pads work especially well if your cat likes to scratch corners (as many cats do). I have a fetish for sofa corners. It's made out of flexible plastic, so it's a bit more difficult to install than the hard plastic versions I've seen elsewhere. However, the flexibility gives it a much tighter fit.     The concept is good for protecting your furniture, but . . . . .

    I recently bought new furniture and I have cats. Well, the two don't go hand in hand as cats love to scratch furniture corners. So I found these cat scratch guards and decided to try them. Well they seem to help but I found the knobs that come with plastic protectors to be difficult to screw in. You can't nail them down as the screws on the knobs will go flat and you won't be able to get the spool out. They just don't seem long enough to actually grip the fabric and wood.
