I love this puppy doorbell!

This works very well for my pup. We hear music from all rooms on the ground floor. And so many sounds to choose from. I like it!

Pros
  • Annual test phase
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Generally works well - dogs

My cat likes to let me know he wants to come back after an outdoor adventure! The only problem is figuring out how to change the alarm sound - I can hear examples of this but can't make it a permanent setting.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Would definitely buy again.

Just over a year after I received this the internal bell stopped ringing. I contacted Mighty Paw and they were VERY responsive and sent me a new receiver which solved the problem. I didn't expect them to send me a new one at all as the product is not expensive and it's over a year old. I mean who does this? So I just wanted to thank them for their great customer service.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • old

Not as good as another brand we've had for 14 years

Hard to train our new dog in it. We have had another brand for 14 years and it was easy to teach a dog to use it. The problem with this call is that the button they press is a fairly small area and white in color, so there needs to be some degree of precision when pressing it. Another thing is that the really sensitive area to press is in the middle, there is a dead zone around it. So the area they need to hit is about 1.5 inches in diameter. It's difficult for a dog. All in all it's pretty…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Hard to say

Puppy needs potty training

I got this for my puppy's potty training. Excellent investment! I hung it on the inside of the front door. Continuous. Sticks very well, my puppy touches it often. Gentle touch to activate. I tried to teach her how to touch it then I tried to teach her how to use her nose but she ends up likes to use her hip to ring the bell lol. The call is sensitive, but not overly sensitive. Loud enough that I can hear it downstairs. My puppy is 5 pounds and took 1.5 months to train. I've been using it for 2

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Great for potty training a puppy with cats in the house!

It's great if you have cats and dogs! I have a puppy, a kitten and an adult cat. I tried training the puppy with bells on the door but it quickly became a mindless noise as the cats continued to play the bells. This is a simple touchpad. It's not really a button, you just have to touch it and it rings the doorbell. I didn't realize that part of the alarm clock needed to be plugged into the wall, but it's fine for my needs in my house. It's VERY loud and so simple, cats won't even look at it…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
