Purchased 2 pcs. as a premium replacement for Camco hoses. Both hoses failed at the Phillips nut connection at the 2 year service mark 30 days apart. Am I eligible for 2 year service on a product I paid a premium price for? Both accidents caused spills into the environment and emptied the tanks.

I need to replace a hose on my transfer regulator with a faulty check valve. I ordered this hose assuming the end of the regulator was 1/4" NPT threads, but the hose I received has reverse 1/4" male threads. Finding the correct Cavagna hose part numbers online seems like a daunting task.

The one I received is better than the one in the photo. The picture shows a typical brass fitting at the end of a rubber hose on the tank side where the crimped hose barb connects to the fitting. With regular hoses, the corrugated sleeve at the end of the hose and the tank connector tend to rotate at this connection when you install or remove the tank. Soon a very slow leak will appear at this intersection. The one I received has a rubber gasket between the two parts and prevents leakage.

These did not last long. Don't think they will be for you too. This should be considered a temporary fix. I'm still trying to find a brand that isn't total CRAFTS china. of the two) didn't fail at the ends of the connector, but an inch or two at the back of the hose itself, suggesting the material used in it is terrible. It's not bad for a quick repair on the go, maybe keep it as a last resort, but don't count on it for the long term.
