"Accurate and Durable Cooking Tool!

If you're into cooking, this thermometer is a must-have in your Home and Kitchen! Based on our own experience, the CDN IR220 Cooking Thermometer is amazing. It provides accurate readings, making it easy to cook meat to perfection. The stainless steel probe is durable and can fit into any size meat easily. The only con we may have is the short length of its wire. But overall, it's a must-have kitchen tool!

Pros
  • Accurate temperature readings for perfectly cooked foods.
Cons
  • Expensive

GOOD FOR WHAT IT IS

I like the big dial but I find it a bit difficult to calibrate since the gauge doesn't read to zero. Also, there is no built in tool for setting the calibration in the case (my other thermometers have it). Also, the needle seems to stick a bit on this device, so I have to tap it on the pan to get an accurate reading. Once that's done, it seems to give accurate readings. But overall I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Blunt Hardware

I'm a chef so you can trust me.

The thing is plain and simple. I like the ease of use. I love that it has a focal point for many popular proteins. If you know how to calibrate a thermometer, you shouldn't have a problem with it. This is the third thermometer I've bought in the last decade (and used countless more!) and it's my favorite of the standard analog types. something cheap and useful, take it.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Updates available
