Good idea but not quite the execution

I was delighted but was quickly disappointed. In short, the screen is very bad - so bad that it is difficult or impossible to use in practice. There is so much grain/noise here that it's hard to even see what you're looking at. If you take a real photo, the quality is better and you can see the object you are looking at. But the quality of these images is still not up to par - they can probably be used for many purposes, but there's still a lot of noise/pixelation, which leaves something to be…

A great gift for children aged 6-8 years. Consider buying from another seller

An amazing toy/tool for young children. I bought these for my 6 year old twin girls - they love them. They examine everything, even created a guessing game by printing out photos and sticking them on a poster. Some of the images are truly amazing. Much better than playing or watching TV on an iPad all day. Ideal for the summer. Nice microscope - it meets all my needs and is a lot of fun to use

I was interested in purchasing a portable digital microscope for the following two reasons: 1) It is becoming increasingly difficult for my old eyes to focus on very small objects. I thought a digital microscope might come in handy in this matter. 2) As a hobby we breed black swallowtail and monarch butterflies.
