I bought the UpClose G2, 7x35 for my wife and 10x50 for me. Mainly for astronomical purposes. They may not be astronomically-optimized, multi-coated pixie dust binoculars, but these humble $25 binoculars are good enough for stargazing. They have really wonderful resolution (counting pinecone seeds at 100 yards), but the correct eyepiece holder is made of plastic so flexible that it's a HUGE pain to focus both eyepieces and point them in the same direction (collimated).
