Loading guide is a bit vague. The rest worked and worked well, it was just a bit slower than expected. However, it is well made and easy to use.

Everyone in our house enjoys this product. The drawstring on my son's shorts got caught in the propeller, so make sure all the laces are tied tight (and hair too, by the way). The charging zone will rust after being in the water, but this hasn't affected the batteries' ability to hold a charge so far.

I may have received a defective item, but this item simply did not meet production standards. On day one, it seemed to run close to the advertised 45-minute runtime. After that, even with the self-cleaning routine and fresh water rinse, we never got back to full performance, leaving us with less than 5 minutes of uptime each day. It was a disappointment. I have returned the item.

The scooters were bought for Christmas. They were reloaded about six times. The chargers stopped working, one won't charge and the other says the device is fully charged but it isn't. Scooters are used and rinsed in the pool. The charging contacts are spring-loaded on the side of the charger and no longer work properly. This is not a quality item. Now we have some yellow plastic cubes that cost hundreds of dollars.

Strong traction in high performance mode. Like any other battery, it can last up to 20 minutes with continuous use without a break. I roughly estimated that I could run 300-350 yards in a straight line with my 200 pound body. I've used it for snorkeling and reef paddling and it stalled as expected. After several uses, the charger thinks the battery is charged when it isn't.
