You get what you pay for

It's ok for the money. The brake pads could have been thicker, but I didn't expect anything better for the money. [Pictured] The old site on the left. The new block is placed at the top right.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

does not fit your car

When looking for car parts, you need to make sure that the parts are suitable for your car. It looks like the search engine doesn't. You pay to return the parts that you think fit the listed vehicles, which I did.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • It's OK

Drum brakes are a pain.

Drum brakes are very difficult to install, I learned that the hard way. Regardless, these brakes are high quality and were not part of my problem. They definitely offer better stopping power than the brakes that were originally fitted to my car.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • boring packaging

Same or better than regular pads

Installed on a 2008 Prius with 220,000 miles on Original Equipment pads. These Centric pads have better bite than the original pads when new (as far as I can remember). Tip: Use two M8 x 1.25 bolts to make disassembling the brake drum a breeze. There are two threaded holes at the end of the drum for this purpose.

Pros
  • Satisfied
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Cheap but great original shoes for my 2007 Prius.

I decided to replace the rear drum linings on my 2007 Toyota Prius and they turned out to be the cheapest OEM replacement. Got them and the installation was honestly a pain. To be honest my original drum shoes probably had 30,000 miles left even with 160,000 miles of use but they were too difficult to get back so I just installed them. Overall, the facility is worth it.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • looks
