Works great until it broke after 7 months

We bought two of these from 2010. The first lasted a year, this lasted 7 months. excellent work. then POOF, they both died without warning. The return policy allows you to return the money with a full refund within a month. Return of the last item purchased for a "partial refund", whatever the amount, at my expense. NO manufacturer warranty. I will NOT buy this brand again.

Pros
  • Electronic controller with temperature control
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

Although it did a good job of straightening my hair at low temperatures, it seemed to damage the ends. I spent 2 weeks trying to contact the sender by phone as it was for the instructions that came with the shipment. I've been waiting for an answer for almost 2 weeks and haven't received any. So I can only give this item 1 star…

  • Unique rotating cord doubles cord life

Decided to try iron again. I was looking for the best for fine hair and found this one from Centrix. It's $119 on some popular beauty sites, but I got it for less than
