Big fan of CEP products but this one is back. I have a similar post from Bauerfeind which appears to be a firmer, significantly thicker compression fabric with better placement of the pressure pads. While I don't want anything too thick and sloppy in my shoes, such products MUST have some content to work for larger users. After receiving this extremely expensive support for a week, I initially found it to be virtually useless for relieving Achilles tendon problems. It doesn't put enough pressure on the gel pads around the tendon to ease the discomfort due to the elasticity of the cuff, so I don't think it does much for the pain relief - and my Achilles tendon sprain pain isn't that high to begin with.
