    Dirt for hob cleaner

    I don't usually write reviews but I am very disappointed with this tool. The blade won't stay out and the plastic case will get stuck making it completely unusable. Do yourself a favor and buy a glass scraper at your local hardware store.

    It's a Miracle: Hob Cleaner

    I had a bad incident with my ceramic hob where an idiot cleaned my kitchen (yes, that's me). She wiped down the stove while it was still hot and some of the microfiber towel melted on the back flame. This miracle scraper is the only thing that cleaned up this mess! The oven looks like new again. Be sure to try this if all else fails.

    Not very safe or usable

    I've had one of these this before and it worked fine. Maybe my replacement is just a piece of crap. The blade isn't held tight enough to keep it straight or prevent it from sliding back into the holder, and the part of the lid that slides back and forth to protect you and the blade doesn't stay in place either and place. I have to wiggle and adjust the blade several times during cleaning.

    Easy to use: kitchen cleaner

    burner and it caught fire. I've only had this oven a few months and thought I screwed it up. I've tried baking soda, vinegar, dish soap but they didn't work. I was afraid to try because I thought I would scratch it and make it worse. This thing saved lives. I would like to take a picture of it before using it. My oven looks like new. I definitely recommend it.

    DO NOT USE - DAMAGED OVEN GLASS

    And we have contacted the manufacturer Cerama Bryte to find out if it is safe to use on oven glass and if it will scratch it we have always understood that razor blades should never be used on glass. The manufacturer said the oven glass is what the product was designed for. We have a relatively new oven and a carefully used scraper left scratches on all the doors of our new oven. Do not use on your stove or glass!

    Not as easy to use as I had hoped.

    I cooked a lot in soot on the stove because 2 teenagers were learning to cook and regularly cooked in random pots or splattered things on the stove. The rings around the burners were due to overflow so I decided to give it a try. This works quite well, but is not strong enough for really baked-on dirt, as the shaver constantly wants to slide backwards. The way to open it is the same as to close it, so pushing in a certain way just pushes the razor back. into this matter.

    I thought my glass top was broken but thanks to this combination I saved it! I'm a Cajun and I overflowed 2 pots of simmering gumbo roux for an appetizer. It is directly LUBRICANT. It stuck and dried instantly. I cursed and panicked when the whole oven was covered in mud. I wiped off the excess, used some Dawn, and it left a lot of caked dirt. I used a scrubber followed by Cerama Bryte. Eventually the scraper completely removed what seemed impossible! The stove looks like new! I also used a…

    A stove scraper would be a valuable commodity. Too bad this doesn't work. The blade is fine, but its plastic body was poorly constructed. The blade stays in place for about 3 strikes before crawling back into the shell like a frightened turtle. Coax the blade back a few times before this worked. Then I just had to throw the whole thing away. Even if advertised as a disposable product, it still deserves one star as it doesn't last for full use.     The best buy!

    I just received my first glass top stove a few months ago. Then a hot pad got stuck in the bottom of my pan and I had no idea. It wasn't until black smoke came out of the pot and then a few jets of fire that I realized what had happened. Chaos!     Works great on my 5 burner glass hob. I have used Cerama-Bryte and Weiman Oven Cleaner with a safe Teflon sponge before. Our oven originally came with a bottle of Weiman cleaner.
