Clog-O-Matic Nozzle

Two stars just because I like the matte color. Aside from that, this PLA clogs nozzles like no other PLA I've ever used. When it first showed up at 10 hours on a 16 hour print I was annoyed. I turned up the heat, thinking maybe I was too cold. It printed a 16 hour print job and then a 12 hour job after that so I went with the 50 hour print I bought it for and guess what, the nozzle was clogged after 40 HOURS. As a result I can't even try again as I wasted most of the reel in the job ruined by a

Pros
  • Better Toughness: The matte filament's toughness is better than ordinary PLA. Economical and wide compatibility.
Cons
  • Something different

Nice Matte Green Filament

Decided to leave a review as it hasn't done so yet. I'm new to 3D printing so my troubleshooting skills for filament issues are limited. Luckily I had no problems with either green cerprise I tried. I received the matte olive green PLA filament the same day my daughter asked me to make her some turtles, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try it out. I printed both turtles at a hot end temperature of 205°C and an initial layer temperature of 70°C, then lowered the temperature to…

Pros
  • High Precision: 1.75mm, +/-0.03mm Tolerance, smooth and steady feeding without clogging the nozzle or extruder.
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Arrived well packaged! Sealed vacuum seal so you know you're getting a fresh spool. The filament has been neatly wound, so you can expect a tangle-free print. It prints well out of the box and gets better with an adjustment or two. The temperature tower and pull test shows that this filament likes to print at temperatures around 205/210°C at the hot end and 60/65°C at the bed. With a travel of 4 to 5mm on my Ender 3v2 with machined glass base. I chose a 205c hot end and a 60c bed (first layer…

Pros
  • No Tangle: Perfectly wound PLA filament, 100% tangle free when closed, will not twist or pucker. Vacuum packed to effectively protect the yarn from moisture.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
