DMI Soft Foam Cervical Collar Neck Support Brace - Extra Large Size, 2 1/2 Inch Width - White Color Review

This foam collar works well for keeping my head up on the computer (that's why I bought it). However, it is VERY VERY hot and I have to take it off when it gets stuffy, after wearing it for about 15-20 minutes. Otherwise it works fine; If only it wasn't so damn hot. This is to be expected with a foam and fabric device like this, so it's not a specific product. If only someone could figure out a better way to air these things (handy).

My neck is 13 inches. Collar size seventeen inches. But it barely fits around my neck. The locking strap is an inch and a half so not much to secure the collar. The two and a half inch measurement is somewhat misleading. The collar is sized at the clasp (where the two ends meet) but is three and three-quarters of an inch elsewhere. I bought this collar because I'm 5ft 1" and wider collars are too big for me. The collar is adjustable in length, but the female side of the velcro is cut very short. If it is not adjusted to the shortest length, then the male (rough side) velcro will be exposed. I have to sleep with a collar on, and while I sleep , the male Velcro continued to cling to my pillowcase. It tugged at the threads of the pillowcase.
