Great Value!: Cabin Air Filter

This cabin air filter is just what we need. My 2005 Infiniti QX56 did not have a cabin air filter when I bought it. Although Infiniti didn't make it easy to access the cabin air filter behind the glove box, this product has a big impact on the air you breathe once I have it installed. The cabin air filter consists of two parts, so you can install each part separately. The first slides in, then slides out to the side, after which you have room to slide the second element into place.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Worth the price. Nice dense filter.

This is the second time I have bought this precision filter. I really like her. Best price around. On the collage of fig. You can see dirty on the left. It was probably 2 years if that. It really wasn't that bad. But I wanted to go ahead and change it. In terms of smell, I really can't tell much of a difference with how unflavored it is. It may have a very slight odor. But don't just buy it for that reason. But yeah, I definitely recommend it, and since you only have to change them every 15,000

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Doubtful

Harder to install than it should have been

I installed cabin air filters on my 2014 Xterra so I wasn't expecting any surprises. Surprise! For some reason this filter wasn't as easy to install as my last pair. I think the sizes are just too big; enough that the filters are not ready to interact when inserted into the airbox. Not sure if it's the fiberboard used to hold the filter pleats, but the second filter didn't want to slip next to its brother at all. I managed to get them both working, but it took twice as much time and effort as…

Works perfectly! for spares

As you can see from my photos, I am long overdue for this replacement filter. When I checked my filter right after purchasing the truck, I noticed that there was no filter at all. It looks like the dealer decided to take it out instead of swapping it out during preparation. Anyway, I bought a FRAM and gave it a whirlwind. I had no idea I needed a SO BAD cabin filter. I knew it was time to replace it again so I bought it and went to install it last night. As you can see, I'm glad I did this…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other filters

Great replacement filters, easy installation

They were for a 2005 Nissan Titan that didn't originally come with filters (XE version). The replacement is pretty easy - you either have to remove the glove box or you can push the locking pins in far enough to get the job done. The filter box is located just behind the glove box and is held in place by a single hex head machine screw. Unscrew and remove the cover, pull out the old filters - first the left, then the right. Replacement is reversed - first the right side, slide it to the side…

  • Absolute Legend

Easy replacement of air filters and accessories

Purchased for a 2011 Nissan Titan Pro-4X. The dealer charged $69.95 for a service to replace the HEPA Air Cabin. So basically for $20 I got two filters that are way better than the Nissan filters that were installed. After 31,000 km the time had come and the original filters urgently needed to be replaced. It's an easy setup and the manual even tells you how to get to the filters. Just two plastic pegs that pop out at the bottom of the glove box (no screws to fiddle with) leaving the glove box…

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Negative result available

Fram micro filter in the interior

Significantly cheaper than at the dealership on the Nissan Titan Truck (38.00 without installation). Installation is easy. Remove the glove box by pulling the two pins out of the lower hinges of the glove box. They're hard to see unless you turn on the lights and duck under the dash a bit. Once you find them for the first time, you can "touch" them since you know where they are. Let the glove box hang on the wire holder or remove it if you like. You will need an 8mm socket to remove the airbox…
