GRAIN MILL WITH UPGRADED SAFETY LID - Open-Cover-Stop type grain grinder will automatically stop operation when its lid is opened, largely enhancing security and protecting the user from injury. There is two induction switches in the buckles on the both sides, which make the machine get started only when the lid is closed completely. So if the grinder cannot turn on the first time, please adjust the lid like steps in image 5. HANDHELD IN SMALL SIZE - Power: 1500W; Capacity: 300g; Speed: 28000rpm; Grinding Fineness: 70-300 mesh; (Except extremely hard material takes 2-3min to grind, normal grains only needs 30s to be ground into powder, so don't use it for too long. It takes 5-10 minutes to rest after every 3 minutes of work.) NOTE: The material recommended to grind one time must cover the long blade in the middle and NO MORE THAN 2/3 of the tank. 1/2 of the tank is the best. ONLY DRIED MATERIALS APPLICABLE - The grinder can deal with various dried materials, including 1grains (soy, corn, barley, rice, wheat, oats, rye, peas, mung beans, coffee beans), 2spices (star anise, fennel, pepper, cinnamon, rosemary) 3herbs (ginseng, astragalus, medlar gelatin, gastrodia, Shijie, Ganoderma lucidum) When using machine to grind panax notoginseng, Chinese herbal medicine and other tough items, please slice them to small pieces first. OVERLOAD PROTECTOR & 0-5 MIN TIMER SWITCH - When grain grinder is in an overloaded/overheat state, the overloaded protector will work automatically to stop the operation. It's easy to solve by replacing the carbon brushes on the both sides and then pressing the overload protector again, then the grinder could work well. Robust and powerful coffee grinder

Advantages: Super robust and powerful coffee grinder. I use it to grind dried turmeric roots which are very hard. I also make flour from dried corn kernels. Suitable for medium and large amounts of food Cons: Doesn't work with small amounts of food (no more than a few tablespoons) Fatal in the wrong hands - no safety mechanism, keep out of the reach of children Too noisy

Works right out of the box

Grain mill arrived yesterday. So far we have ground brown rice and corn. The grinder worked flawlessly from the start. No adjustments were needed and the instructions were clear and simple. It worked quickly and completed both jobs in less time than expected. Easy to clean. Seems very solidly built. I am happy with my purchase. Warning: This is quite loud, but not deafening.

Grinds wheat nice but noisy to fine flour

Bought for my wife who grinds whole wheat flour in a hand mill. Her hands hurt from this, but it turned out to be something like the flour she needed. But this electric meat grinder is just a miracle! The flour is fine and smooth and the bread my wife makes with it is excellent. This coffee grinder helps alleviate my wife's severe allergy problem and we love it. It makes a lot of noise, but that doesn't really bother us. That's great. Better than we had hoped.

Great value, high performance

This is a small but powerful grinder that I use for grinding hard dried mushrooms before extracting medicinal herbs. There is a short learning curve, but once you understand the best usage methods, you will find that the machine works very well. The contents of the grind area will heat up if you leave it on for too long, but the grind time is user controlled so this isn't an issue for me. I would buy it again and I'm picky about my tools so that's saying something good. I declare no conflicts…

Grind again after a short while to avoid overheating

Ideal for grinding Chinese herbs and anything dry. The lid is well thought out. With no clear instructions, it takes me a while to figure out how to tighten and loosen the nuts to close and remove the grinder's lid. The two levers above the bolts should be in the open position when tightening or loosening the nuts. Lapping: 1) two levers in open position 2) tighten nuts 3) lever in closed position by pulling in opposite direction 4) switch on machine Finish grinding: 1) put both levers in open…

Works surprisingly well

I have a manual coffee grinder but it takes a long time to grind and it doesn't work so I went with an electric one. I was pleasantly surprised to see the price of electric coffee grinders drop and found these with good reviews. Delivered quickly and I got to work. I grind rice and kamut wheat berries into flour. It did a really good job the first time. I only had to grind a small portion to get the finer consistency I wanted. My only "complaint" is that it's awkward to pour out ground flour…

Just what I need

This grinder does exactly what I need. I bought a 300g capacity vertical coffee grinder and after reading and following the instructions the machine ground the rice like flour (see photo). I used my thumb to push both screws all the way back (to make sure they touched the conductor). Otherwise it will not turn on. It's loud (sounds like a blender or hand mixer). The instructions say that there may be an odor when you use it for the first time, and you need to clean the machine with rice before…

Not sure what I think of this

Update: (Rating changed to 3 stars for now, will update next) After emailing the company they agreed readily acknowledging that I had done whatever I could to fix. and that the materials I was trying to grind were within the capabilities of the product, I must have received a defective product, it happens. They agreed to send me a replacement coffee grinder which has already been shipped and should be here tomorrow. Very fast customer service. As long as the one I get works, I'm happy.…
