Cheap/Poor Quality - Garage Doors, Openers & Parts

Handyman. It lasted 26 years. I would fix it, but they no longer make parts for it. It was necessary to buy this brand again just because of the quality of the product materials. But I bought the Chamberlain based on the reviews. Mistake. I don't think $200 more is going to buy it. Materials: cheap plastic, very thin metal, very thin wires, thin plastic bushings on major moving parts, light alloy and plastic main body. Good opener, works great on close pitch installations

Installed two of these in my son's garage, a three car garage that oddly never had a garage door opener. They work great. The installation instructions are excellent and any sane person can do it.
