Ideal for removing floor brackets

I fucking love these pliers. I had to remove a million ground braces. The previous owner really drove around town. I tried regular pliers, a nail puller, a hammer, etc. It was awful. But with these tongs it was cake. With the right tool for the job, effort becomes pleasure.

Quality Made in USA Diagonal Cutters

This is a set of high quality Diagonal Cutters made in the USA. I've used them a few times to cut nails and screws and so far I've had no problems with them chipping or breaking. However, they are not designed to cut through hardened steel. So if they chip you, make sure you're not using them to cut the wrong things.

Made in USA isn't what it used to be (gloomy face)

Made in USA, great. But on one edge was a sharp metal spur (I ripped it off with pliers) and another rough sharp edge, not where it should be sharp, that needs to be filed. I am replacing the same item I had for 20 years which ended up being lost. I would pay more if it was necessary to purchase a tool that didn't require me to use my own tools to complete the manufacturing process.

So I bought their Knipex version and they couldn't even cut the finished nail and they didn't have enough grip to cut the pull nails out so I sent them back and decided to try the American equivalent Channellock. Well those channel lock end cutters are just as bad, which is why I've come to the conclusion that the concept of end cutters and wire cutters are just terrible tool designs that don't work. Problems I've encountered: 1) When grabbing a nail, the handles diverge so far that your hand…

Great handy staple and nail remover

I never knew I needed this until I saw a guy on YouTube showing how effective different staple removers are for stuffing carpet off the floor. It's really adorable. I only grab and pull at a slight angle and no force is required. Also works great for removing nails in general and those LONG skinny rods especially in the corner bead. My suggestion is to grab and pull a little at a time, working close to the wall so you don't cut the nail and bend the underside of the corner molding. For the…

yes on this tool: Diagonal cutters

Professional user here. This is one of the tools I wish I had in my tool bag every day. I've had a few over the years and the reason I've had a few is because others liked this tool enough to conveniently lose them to me. As a carpenter, I mainly used it to quickly and safely remove all types of nails, as well as other cutting jobs. This is a well balanced, compact tool that fits in a pocket and is built well enough to be used when needed. You need to develop your sense of touch to pull out…

Very inferior to the original 357!

Don't be fooled by the claim that this is the same as the original 357. I was outraged by this false claim and very disappointed with this new version. The original 357 was just a great plan. This new version of 357 is just worse and not a very useful or good tool. The jaws are too narrow, and the center rivet sticks out so much that it prevents the jaws from grabbing pretty much anything the original 357 was good at, like something as simple as pulling out electric suspenders. This will not…
