Great pliers for electrical work

I bought these pliers primarily for electrical work around the house and they are great! First, I like that they are made in the USA. They feel good in hand, are durable and generally well made. I was thinking of the Klein but for my limited use I couldn't justify the extra money when they seem to be just as well made. I would buy them again in a heartbeat but I suspect they will last me a lifetime.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Wrong picture - wire cutters

Thought I would need a pair of crimping pliers as shown in the photo which I need to work with electricity. They don't have crimpers, they're just 9 1/2" pliers. If you need a crimping pliers, be sure to order 369CRFT. I think Revain has some channellock pictures that don't match the product. Be sure to look at the channellock -Search the website for correct model information.

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Not bad

Not as pretty as Klein, but worth the money.

I work as an electrician. Whenever I need a new pair of pliers I'm always wary of paying big bucks for a Kleins or Milwaukee set as they could be stolen, lost or destroyed any day. So I decided to try these channel lock pliers and for the money I'd say it's about as good as a small set. The hinges are nice and loose, move the way you want, they don't stick like the cheaper brands, and they're the perfect weight. Definitely my new favorite brand for the money.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • No machine

NOT AS SHOWN. - Pliers

The picture shows a pair of pliers with floor pliers. Pliers appeared without crimping pliers. The rubber grips are flimsy and not as strong as others I've used. Also, there is an oval hole at the top of my stairs; they fall through (no other pair I've used have done so). They seem to hold up well enough, good steel and design, but when I've worn them out I'll look for a pair with ground sleeves. (I'm a licensed electrician and wear out about 3 pairs of pliers a year. If you don't abuse them…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old

well done but not as accurate as the others.

Manipulator pliers are indispensable tools for twisting and manipulating wires. They also work with hammers and wrenches and sometimes even a crowbar, which is why they are often abused. It's very good so far. I didn't close the wires, so I can't comment on the insulation. They are just as comfortable as other pairs I own or have owned. So far no signs of rust. In terms of leverage, I tested another pair from a more expensive company and didn't feel any difference, so I don't know if they can…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
