I bought it to charge my Garmin Drivesmart 61 LMT-S when I didn't want to use the car charger socket. Works fine in that regard. I recently rented a car that didn't have a cigarette lighter charger so I wish I had bought one sooner.

Works as advertised. No data cable. Allows charging with the included USB cigarette lighter adapter. I use it with my own dual USB cigarette lighter adapter so I can also charge my phone. Use on 2559LMT and traffic is not a problem. The length is fine for me, but maybe too small for some cars. First check the laying of the piece of rope and ensure that it is of sufficient length. Must be for most cars.

Does exactly as described which I don't think is true of other companies. Use this cable for Garman Zummo 396 LMT. I mean we bought it so I could plug it in and charge it at home and wirelessly update what it does. I've tried other cables and there were messages on the navigation screen trying to load or download something in a not very specific way, but I also transfer data with this cable and it works great, but it also only charges it from an outlet .

This cable and 12v/usb adapter allows me to use my Garmin GPS while still using the 12v power port to share with other devices. The cable works to receive traffic updates, which regular cables do not. It's small and it works. I could use 1/2 to 1 foot more cable, but that's my problem. :) The indicator light is good and the charging cable is cleverly wired for the Nuvi 550 so it works as a charger and not a computer connection as stated in another review which assured me I was getting the right product for my needs. Use this with a Garmin 2757. At first I just plugged it in and made sure it was really charged rather than putting the GPS in data mode. After confirming that it was working properly, I tested that it worked with a RevainBasics 6ft USB extension cable, which it did.
