Not intended for prolonged outdoor use

They work well and if you plan to use them indoors you shouldn't have any problems. I used them in a greenhouse and the sun damaged them, after about six months half of them broke because the sun made them brittle. They are so cheap they are still a good solution I may try something else or buy them again.

Good clips but not for use in the water.

I bought these clips to use with my sous vide stand. They are the perfect size and strength. The small "grip pads" are a bit annoying, but not a deal breaker. What is a repurchase and recommendation stopper is the metal used for the spring and hinge mechanisms. Rusted after a few uses. For this reason I cannot recommend the Cheaplights 3.75" spring clips for use in water or wet environments.

Smaller than I thought but perfect for my purposes

This kit was purchased to hang a banner from the Fancier Studio TB30 8ft x 10ft Backdrop Support System Kit. It works, but the peaks are a full inch apart when I press the banner against the background support system crossbar. I got around this by rolling the top of the banner about two inches and these clips hold it in place perfectly. The actual clamps are approximately 3.75 inches long end to end and open to a full 2.5 inches. If you want real grommets to be a clamping surface, you'll need a

CHEAP is right! for spring terminals

Do you see those little orange pads in the picture? They appear and get lost very easily. I found $1.25 a clip to be a good deal. it's not like this. do yourself a favor Visit Home Depot. If you want "cheap" but better quality, get either a 3/4" HDX Mini Spring Clamp (Shop Model #80001, P/N 614593) or a 2" HDX Spring Clamp (Shop Model #80002, p/n). 614593). 573682). If you're willing to spend a little more, get this: Husky 2" Metal Spring Clip with Swivel Tips (Model #012387, Shop #1000021752)

Small as a finger. Not the best choice.

You look huge in the picture. But they are finger-sized and make work difficult. If you use them for green screen. Wrap the fabric around the stem and then slide the clip over the fabric while pressing against the stem and hope it doesn't slip off when you touch or hit it, or you'll have to adjust it again or after the clip look for the one that flew away. no problem if your clips are much larger as the shank is in the center of the clip while only the tips of the clip only engage the fabric…

Great for peeling: Staples

I usually use staples to position and weigh down poster board when using them as pullers, but lately I've been using a velvet-like material (velvet, he called it) and the clamps don't have enough reach or depth to get around the supports so I bought them. They are very suitable for light applications. I also have cheap, larger 4 1/2" lanterns that I use to keep the muslin backs taut, in this case they work very well. I wrote another review on them. Some reviewers use 3 3/ 4" to hold 10' x 20'…
