The last can opener you will ever need

I've had one for decades; I repeat: FOR DECADES! I bought one at a thrift store, I believe in the 1980's. I wanted something I could take with me on a long camping trip, something light. I had no idea how amazing these things are! Fast, easy to use (right-handed; don't know about left-handed), it's my old confidant since I first used it. I've tried other can openers, some prettier or cooler (including the toucan-like one), but they're all disappointing. Even longer-handled versions, some with a

Handy, durable, minimalistic gadget

I have several other can openers in my kitchen (including one electric) and they are all much easier and more convenient to use. But I always use them instead. I think I like minimalism and they are also great for hiking. However, I don't want to use them in the kitchen every day. The novelty will wear off and they'll be annoying compared to an electric or even bigger manual opener. But for a can a week, they're great! However, they don't come with instructions and really aren't very intuitive.

One of those "military" types that you know work because soldiers can't afford things that don't work in the field. We lost him and we were sad. So I randomly looked at Revain and found this and I knew for the price (set of 2 for about $5) it was going to be a piece of junk but I threw the bones and them hoping I was wrong. ; this has happened to other threads before. I…

Bottle opener replacement only

This is the only type of can opener I will be using. Mine, which is finally wearing out, was bought in 2000. I bought these 2 packs thinking I was set for a long time. They appear to be the same, but with some differences that affect usage VERY much. First, the metal appears to be very thin. Second, it only has a small protrusion at the edge of the glass. It doesn't seem like a huge difference, but when you want to use it, it sits at a slightly different angle than my old one. It requires a lot
