Chef Craft Poultry Thermometer White Review

I place 3 pounds of Butterball Grilled Breast (white meat only) in a Renyolds piping bag and the turkey is very juicy (let rest 5 minutes before slicing). These popups are great for temporary confirmations (350 in 1.5-2 hours)

Jumped out prematurely. Obviously this product is meant to be accurate which is why I am disappointed. Used it on turkey. The turkey needed to cook about half an hour longer. Good if it works properly. Would think twice before ordering again.

We tried two of these on a five pound turkey breast. The first showed up in an hour. Another tried to pop out two hours later, but the red button appeared to have melted and never fully popped out. We used our instant-read electronic thermometer to bring the turkey up to the recommended temperature. Don't trust these pop-ups without backup plan.

The thermometer popped out too early on my Thanksgiving turkey. I'm an experienced cook and have used pop-ups in my turkeys many times. My turkey was pickled in brine and I find it cooks a little quicker than without the brine so I figured it would, but I should have trusted my gut, not this thermometer. Had to put the turkey back on the cook after they started cutting. Dissatisfied

i have no problem with timers; They are cool. I have a delivery problem. We put a few boxes in front of our house to donate to the veterans organization and whoever delivered this order put the envelope behind the boxes, not on our doorstep. It is good that I saw that the order was delivered on the computer and was able to receive the envelope before collecting the donated boxes.

I used two of these on a turkey, one on the thigh and one on the breast. The one in the thigh popped out perfectly, but since the breast hadn't come out yet, I left it in the oven and watched it closely. He didn't pop out, he melted. I took the turkey based on the thigh. Turkey was perfect. I have different views on this subject based on the above, but I will have a different opinion next year.
