durable, but the handle transmits heat.

We have a brick oven and the handle gets hot quickly, the plastic part that slides can slip on the skin that melts quickly in the oven at 700-1000 degrees, so we had to put it away. For us this will be a replacement case but we will go back to a stainless steel case like GI Metal.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Rotten Tomato!: Tools for Pasta and Pizza

Not really, I am returning this tomato. bad design. The measurements are wide. It is 12 inches wide but has a usable area of 11 1/4 inches by 12 inches. It's a cupcake! It has no bevel so the pizza could tear when you lift it into the oven. I cannot recommend this pomodoro. away and only buy non-anodized shells, they flake off and are poisonous.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • For old

Not for wood oven Cheap metal

oven at 1000% baking Neapolitan pizza and the shell fell apart after the third use. The entire top half of the shell crumbled. Not 100% aluminum, some cheap composite metal. I was trying to save money on a rotary saw because I bought a GI metal file for the main file. Lesson learned: The bowl should be decent for a 500 percent high domestic stove, not for high-temperature cooking with wood.

Pros
  • understandable also for old
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great for easy storage!

I was looking for a lathe case that was both inexpensive and didn't take up too much space when not in use. i feel perfect The grip is actually two pieces that attach to the shell itself, allowing you to use it at a full 47 inches of reach, or about two feet if you only install one limb. This is great for me because I will be using it with the Ooni Koda 16 so I don't need a lot of range. The bowl itself is hard to the touch and has a fun little chef's logo on it. I am very happy that I chose…

Pros
  • High marks for stability and durability from testers
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Great quality, worth every penny. Don't wait too long to delete.

Excellent quality. The shell was harder than I expected and I really appreciated the ability to change the length of the handle. The metal couplings and threads are well made. The reversible bowl worked great, freeing up my regular bowl so we could continue making pizza on the inside while I cooked it on the outside. The only downside I found was the cleaning. Hand wash only and I would suggest cleaning it as early as possible as bits of dough or cheese can get stuck in the flutes. All in all…

  • Stable test results

Removable handles for easy storage l

Removable handles for easy storage. Used with Ooni Koda and makes turning the pizza easier. It takes a little practice. Uncomfortable opponent of the first pizza, but it was great. I used a larger shovel to start, but this one flipped and peeled the pizza off with no problem. Use a shorter handle - you'll need some room behind you to maneuver or risk accidentally bumping someone when you pull the handle out of the oven. I used it outdoors so it wasn't a problem for me. Very happy with it. I…

Get what you pay for. Under par threaded handle design

I was hoping it would be a quality piece but they were wrong because the threaded inserts are cheap due to the way they attach to the wooden handles. Very cheap and only a matter of time before they are all released. I could take it back and splurge on the premium Italian GI brand. As they say, buy once, cry once! Spend more on quality the first time to try to be cheap but a few times they just don't hold up over time! Edit: I think if you leave the handle attached for storage instead of…
