Not as advertised Good for toaster

I bought this toaster because of all the button functions; Defrosting, reheating, etc. etc. According to the instructions, you need to press the button and it lights up, and then press the lever to start toasting. Well, none of the buttons light up BEFORE you push the toaster lever down - only after you've pushed the lever down. Simply toast the bread evenly!

Received yesterday and immediately disappointed and threw away the inedible toast. The toaster should toast the bread evenly on both sides! It seems easy, doesn't it? The darkness setting/temperature control just doesn't work! The first toast was thrown away because at 3 it was burned on one side and barely toasted on the other. Terrible product and warranty support

This toaster had problems from the start. The heating elements on one side of each slot heat up slowly, resulting in uneven browning. The problem kept getting worse. Also, the auto popup didn't work even when set to the lowest setting. I contacted Revain customer service 3 months after receiving the toaster and they asked me to try Chefman directly. It took 21 days to resolve this issue. (Chefman claimed that "slight discrepancies" in browning weren't covered by the warranty. Revain's amazing…

The slots aren't long enough for a couple of loaves of bread. Inexpensive temperature control components.

Addendum: After a month of use, everything works as it should, except that if you just want to toast a slice of bread, you have to turn down the dark setting. Otherwise, you'll end up with a piece of toast that's much darker on one side than the other. The outside of the toaster stays cool. The so-called "lift" lever function is useless for something like an English muffin, so watch your fingers! . Bread is hard to take out and clean but otherwise great

When I started college this semester I accidentally burned my old toaster (I also burn eggs I was told to they are quite talented ) .) I had to quickly find a replacement that worked cheaply.
