As a groomer, I use the Chi Detangler every day. I was able to comb out heavy tangles that I thought I had to clip out. Simply spray on, let dry and comb through. Like the scent. I recommend this product to my customers.

I think it's expensive for a dog product but Chi is a high end product. My dog is small and will last for years. I would like to buy a shampoo, but I can't anymore. The smell is long lasting and keeps the dog fur soft on my dog. Can be used on wet or dry dog

I'd rather spend less and use my own dog conditioner cream. Spray pumps don't work properly unless they're upright, so spraying the dog's sides works well but not other areas. The conditioner gets on the floor through overspray. It's cheaper by the ounce to use human leave-in conditioner from a makeup store.

It makes my dogs smell so good. They are both long haired and this really helps with combing and makes their fur very soft and fluffy. They don't seem to mind the smell, none of them sneeze when I use it and it doesn't irritate their skin. This is good stuff. It removes any tangles from my dog's coat before I attempt to brush it. I use a slicker brush to keep my poodle's coat adorable, fluffy and tangle-free. *** Allow the material to dry before using the brush. Otherwise it combs well, but when it dries you have to do it again. My little poodle is a very whiny dog. (Vaccinated when she was 5. Not my fault.)
