CHI Rocket Professional Hair Dryer Review

This is the third CHI rocket I've bought in two years. Works great until it doesn't work anymore. All three of me died with no indication that there was a problem. Works one morning. The next one doesn't work. I originally bought this brand because my stylist used it and decided it should be easy to dry mine once a day when they could dry 6-8 clients hair a day 6 days a week. I bought it in mid-October last year and it has already died. Didn't last a year. I will never use this brand again. Who

My hairdresser recommended this hair dryer to me and the first one I bought eventually died after 6 years of daily use. I was looking for a quiet hair dryer. In this respect it met all the requirements. It dries my hair thoroughly in a reasonable amount of time and reduces my hair's frizz factor. Not too hot, cool button to adjust style. I have tried several other models over the years but none have had all the benefits this hair styling dryer offers.

I bought this hair dryer because my stylist uses it. So I had personal experience with him on the other side of the gun. In general, after 4 months of use, everything is fine. Have been using this brand for many years and bought this model. At first I thought it was great, but after about 5-6 months I started having problems with my hair. It was very dry, brittle and when I shampooed my hair got so tangled it looked like it was tangled. I was confused. Shampoo changed several times. Used more conditioner. I had a hair dryer from the same brand I've been using for over 15 years, it wasn't working lately so I bought the same brand I really like it. The new one is almost the same as the old one, but the handle is longer, so it's better to hold it. The cold/warm air button is very handy compared to the old one, and there's also a fancy backlight of a different color to indicate the dryer has hot or cold air.

This is my second CHI hair dryer. The first took a long time. This new one is pretty heavy. My hand is really tired. I'll try it for a few more days and see if it still bothers me. If it works I can return it. I like the long cord and great drying power. I think it's not that loud and I used Revlon as a backup. If it wasn't hard it would have gotten 5 stars.
