I love these short needles. It's so easy to knit a hat for a newborn or a hat for old age! The overall length of these needles is 12 inches from tip to tip. There is a smooth transition between the needle tip and the cable.

The stitches slide down the needle very easily but the ends you hold on to are very short - much shorter than any other knitting needles I have or have seen - and very difficult to hold or manipulate. Discomfort renders them useless

Needle is ok. I've used them before and enjoy them for baby hats. One star deducted for poor packaging. Not Raven's fault. An adhesive label permanently attached to the packaging deletes relevant information, e.g. B. Length, size, mm etc. I keep my needles in their original packaging and I want it to be visible. Why not place the company's barcode somewhere else? You will need your knitted receipt to confirm the size.

Very happy with these needles. They were used to make the sleeves of a children's sweater pattern in a circle. I hate using DPNs, so they're perfect for small areas that can be taken out in one turn. I've also tried other things as an experiment and while they may take some time to get used to as they can take a bit of getting used to at first, I would recommend them. This is a good choice instead of DPN or Magic Loop.

Circular needles are my favorites and Chiaigoo is my #1 brand. It took me a while to get used to the short prompts. During long knitting sessions, my hands cramped a bit at first. Once I finished a pair of socks I appreciated being able to walk in circles rather than stopping to adjust the magic loop and the shorter needle tips weren't as much of a hassle.
