I haven't tried Hiya Hiya needles but I've tried Addi and up. If you want a cable with no memory (Addi still holds the curl), a smooth connection that doesn't pull or twitch, and your finer fibers (Knitters Pride Dreamz) and non-slip like Teflon. These are your needles! I can't talk about this enough!

Use these needles day and night. I recently turned to Continental knitting to relieve the stress of my arthritis. These are by far my favorite for keeping stitches on needle while still allowing stitches to move smoothly and easily as you knit. My favorite feature is definitely the cords. Coated wire is a pleasure to work with. I don't think I'll ever use my old needles again.
