Perfect for an 11 year old boy with no skills.

Ideal for an 11 year old boy with no skills but who wants to go with his grandmother once a week. The skate rental was terrible. Tip: Buy more and then Dr. Sholls, because no matter what brand of skate you choose, they won't be sealed.

Poor quality roller skates

I bought these roller skates for my 8 year old son. He has been using them once a week for 3 months (he attends classes). Roller skates are now unusable. Tried to contact the company several times but they don't answer. Also, the company contact information provided by Revain is incorrect.

  • Quality construction

Chicago is fine!

I read the posts and Chicago skates are good I'm not a beginner so when you take new skates always adjust the wheels and it's enough from the factory for tightness under the shoe I have also bought another one. a set of wheels and bearings, a good shoe and a price you can easily convert into high quality skates

Pros
  • practical thing

Highly do not recommend this product

Bought for my son for Christmas. One of the stoppers fell off. The wheels became loose and had to be constantly tightened. Well this weekend, just after the facelift, my son went ice skating and the front wheels completely fell off. He fell badly and broke two bones in his arm. I definitely do not recommend this product.

Nice skates but you need new wheels and bearings.

After purchase I see a gap between 5 star and 1 star ratings. The skates themselves are well designed and built, but the wheels and bearings are a little low quality. I only use them inside and the original wheels wear out after 9 hours of driving. Sure, I weigh over 200 pounds and apply more force to the subject than a child or light person, but I "tapered" these wheels after the first (3 hour) session. After 2 more sessions, two of them were carried to the ground. So I had to change the…

I used to roller blade as a kid but just got back into it because my 7 year old daughter really likes it. She convinced me to join her figure skating club (what the heck is a good time for mom and daughter and I could use some more exercise, grace and a few tricks!) so it's time for me to buy some skates. I didn't want to spend much so I found them at Revain for $40 - great deal! I wear women 10.5-11 and usually men 9.5. However, the skates I rented at the rink were a size 9 so I ordered a size

Great skates but not for everyone

Update: After only 13 hours of using the rink, my shoelace snapped (which almost stretched the entire boot before I realized it) and the heel of both boots was already partial Tore off. ... but you almost certainly won't see the same problems. Again, I'm a 6'2" skater, 205 lbs, size 13 shoes. I'm an intermediate skater and spend most of my time skating for exercise. I use more leverage than most people on my boat because my larger body uses a lot leverage, my monstrous feet only accentuate…
