I've been waiting for this bed to be back in stock to buy it. So glad I did. We take this bed with us when we camp and put it on the floor of our small trailer for our dogs to sleep on. We also have it outside while enjoying the scenery. They love it! Since the weather is so warm now we put it on the cool side and when it gets colder the warm side is ready to go. Our dog is a 60 lb Siberian Husky. We received this bed as a handy way to throw it in the car for day trips with the dog. As soon as we took him out of his bag and put him on the floor he knew exactly where he was going to lie down. We went with friends and another dog and as soon as our friend got up to get water we found that another dog quickly took his place on this bed. Update: We now have 4 dogs and 8 beds. 4 for home use and 4 for travel/camping only. The original bed is still there. They're built chuck-it.to-last style! We have other beds on site but if given a choice they would prefer these to any beds we have or have tried. We have bought two of these beds and are generally happy with them. Can't yet comment on how well they clean or how long they last, but for intended outdoor use they're good. They come in very cute blue pouches that look like little dog sleeping bags. They are quite thin as other reviewers have said. Update May 2019. I bought another one of those Chuckit! Beds. After using the original bed I bought at home, in the car, etc., I used it as a cage pillow for my border collie during my senior year in dog class. Fits well in the middle box. I like that it curls up a bit on the sides (see picture) and I can fold down the drawer with the inner lining. Instructions say machine wash in warm water, tumble dry low. I washed my original bed several times but used cold water in our front loading washing

Updated 10/01/17 *Beds hold their shape despite multiple washes and dryers (just dry or medium heat). No shifting of materials or ridiculous fluffing of the filling like throwing some pillows in the dryer. Used regularly, both are still in very good condition.
