5 stars for what it is.

I bought this laptop for my daughter's home schooling. It's seven years old and I didn't want to spend a lot if it broke but something good enough for online learning. Keep in mind that this isn't an i3, i5, i7 or i9 processor, but it does come with 8GB of RAM and an SSD hard drive. I had no trouble connecting to Wi-Fi after a bit of troubleshooting. I restarted my router and haven't had any connection issues since. This would be a great laptop for basic use or a travel laptop for streaming…

VERY responsive support

I was very impressed with how attentive their support was when I contacted them with a question and an issue with my laptop. Although this model did not suit my lifestyle, they took my feedback on the product and responded diligently within a few days. They also managed to sell me the next-gen model, the LapBook Pro, which I absolutely loved. An amazingly impressive 1080P screen, tiny form factor and sturdy metal construction make this laptop a great carry-on. The HeroBook Pro doesn't have that

Suitable for moderate use

I bought this laptop to replace an old HP DV9730 as my main laptop. The two devices are wildly different in terms of processing power and features, but I paid around $1,100 for the HP and $279 for the HeroBook. Don't think you're getting a world-class laptop. The Chuwi feels solid, light and capable. I added an additional 256GB microSD card to the external slot to get a full 512GB of storage, although the specs say the TF slot can only hold up to 128GB. The laptop recognizes the card and I can…

Great for its purpose

I needed a PC for my college classes, but I've been using a Mac for ten years, so I wanted something cheap, no frills, but with the specs needed for the QuickBooks software on it be used and it fits the bill perfectly. It actually seems funny that they tried to mimic the look of a Mac laptop in terms of overall design. My only complaint is that I'm used to a slightly smaller machine, so I'm finding it a bit difficult to use this keyboard because everything is more spread out and/or the touch…

Probably not the best laptop for an active user

Let me explain the use case: my partner uses the laptop for writing, sheet music, searching the web, listening to music and sometimes movies, fairly light applications. However, they use it 6-8 hours a day, ride it on public transport, travel with it and use it at home, so intensively in that sense. We were hoping a cheaper laptop would work as their requirements were minimal. Unfortunately, the thing fell out of the packaging. Problems starting Internet Explorer. A partially closed screen put…
