Cimacon metaBI Review

I like the fact that it's open-source. The product as such seems to be quite stable. It has been used in several clients with success. The lack of support for SSIS (we have several SSIS packages, and none are supported). We use it in multiple projects, all managed by Biztalk. None so far. The support team was very helpful in answering my questions, even though I had to ask several times before they understood what exactly it would take from them as far as customization goes! We have been able to develop our BI Reporting Tool with some customizations that were not available out-of box (e.g., we wanted more flexibility when adding new fields).The system has helped us reduce development time by half or so compared to other platforms/frameworks which are much less flexible than this

The best thing about cimanmeta BI tool it's that, in addition to being very powerful with all its features (such as data mining), has an interface easy-to use by users without any technical knowledge; It works perfectly even when you're using other software such as Excel or Access.
