I think some of them work?!?!

I've always used Linksys routers, both wired and wireless. I've also used D-Link and Belkin. I've always preferred Linksys. I bought one and was thrilled! For some days. Excellent performance. Then he stopped working. I couldn't get all my cars on it. Then I couldn't achieve anything. Reboots didn't work. I had to restore factory settings. Worked for a while but when I made changes to the configuration it stopped working. Firmware update did not help. None of my wireless stations could detect…

Nothing special for routers

Linksys was the first router I bought (BEFSR41), it stopped working many years ago. I did some web research and bought D-Link (DI-624) for my next router, it still works and I think is faster than WRT54GX4 (or at least with my setup) and WPA security /WPA2 works with mine MacBook. Below is the reason I bought this router and the problem I had, it definitely didn't live up to my expectations. I bought it because I read that the WiFi part was supposed to have reduced or no dead zones. In…

This router sucks Computers and Accessories

I've had this router for 3 months now. When I first plugged it in 3 months ago it worked pretty well. Now it just sucks - it keeps turning off my Thinkpad. The range it offers is pathetic. That's it, no more Linux. I'd love to return it, but the pain of having to hang up with Linksys isn't worth the sixty dollars I paid for this useless thing. UPDATE: I found that this router doesn't work with some computers. if you use certain transmission methods. For example, my DELL laptop won't connect to…

Linksys WRT54GX4 worked out of the box with no issues

I reviewed the following Linksys products: WRT300N Wireless-N Broadband Router paired with WUSB300N Wireless-N USB Network Adapter; and a WRT54GX4 Wireless-G Broadband Router with SRX400 paired with a USB Wireless-G Network Adapter with SRX400 (WUSB54GX4). A review of the available customer/owner comments on Revain, as well as elsewhere, revealed a fairly consistent story: unless you have big 11n needs, don't worry about the WRT300N or worry about replacing your SRX400 11g router upgrade .
