Pros: One of the safest coffee options for a large number of guests, in the sense that no one is likely to be rejected. Has cons: There is no pronounced face. Which is good, but can also be bad, for the most ardent coffee aficionados who may be looking for something bright and unusual.

The point is, coffee is great when you can afford it. There are other Italian roast coffees that are great and don't owe anyone. So it's a compromise: do you want the best and find a way to buy it, or work a little harder to find something you can afford? feel like an idiot if i don't try to find something i like and can afford.

I've never been a big coffee drinker because wherever I drink coffee, it always tastes bitter! I would put a lot of cream in it to kill the taste of the coffee. We tried this while on vacation in Italy and it was the smoothest, tastiest coffee we've ever had. Now I'm an avid coffee drinker and I drink it black! LOVE IT. Such a smooth, almost silky feel. The most amazing coffee I've ever had.

I love coffee with my girlfriend with cream so my husband and I always have a hard time finding a coffee that we both like. We had this Illy coffee at a friend's and have been buying it ever since. The taste is surprisingly smooth - literally the best coffee I've ever tasted. I can't enjoy Starbucks anymore sometimes - too bittersweet lol. I highly recommend this coffee, just know you're going to be a coffee snob from now on!

I love this coffee. It's beautiful, rich and fragrant. Previously, we were getting espresso grinds because we couldn't get drip coffee grinds when subscribing and saving. To avoid possible problems with the basket overflowing, we mixed it with other regular ground coffees. Any coffee that makes other coffees taste BETTER is great coffee. I can get past crumpled cans and prices but because of the ultra fine grind my paper cone filter overflowed on my counter today so it doesn't suitable for my current needs. The taste is pleasant enough, although my palate cannot decipher that it was roasted in Italy. The image of a drip coffee maker on a can made me think it would work with any process.
