This knife is fantastic to use. The metal is strong and easily slices through any vegetable. If you are used to handling a large knife, this knife is no problem. However, this knife is not suitable for people with large hands. The distance from the handle to the board is not that big. If you're not used to handling big knives, then this one is for you. You have to pinch the handle instead of grabbing it, making handling a little different for the inexperienced.

This knife is MUCH better than it should be for the price. Razor sharp and holds up better than my much more expensive knives. I only had to use steel a few times to straighten the blade and shake your uncle. The only small change I want to make (and have done) is to treat the handle a bit. Felt a bit dry like it was missing a finish. I applied 2 coats of tung oil and now everything is fine. Damascus is high quality but it is clear that this blade is VERY tough. I wouldn't stop.

This is one of those things that looks good in pictures, but when you get your hands on it you'll probably be a little disappointed. The top edge is very sharp so be careful how you hold it. Also, the pattern on the blade is nothing but sandblasting or something.
