Don't Love It

I wanted to love this Clover hook but I don't. It's three times the price of my ergonomic Boye hook and not as comfortable. The shaft is made of hard plastic and the "depreciation" is negligible. The stem is about an inch shorter than my Boye's, which means the hard plastic end rests against my palm every time I tug on the strap. I've tried holding the hook in a variety of ways to alleviate this problem, but to no avail. The second issue is with the hook itself. This is supposed to be a 5mm H…

Good product

Metal hook on a soft plastic handle. The hook goes smoothly through yarn and even satin ribbons. The handle feels comfortable. However, I returned this item, but only because the handle was not wide enough for my mother (who suffers from neuropathy in her fingers) to use it comfortably. She has another 3/4" wide, 1/3" thick hook that suits her better. The handle is 1/2" wide at its widest point and gradually tapers towards the end. A great hook that will hold up after years of use

I love shamrock hooks! This is my second favorite hook type (after the comfort grip versions of the Amour) and I have used it for many years. To the point that I'm surprised at how quickly my hand starts to hurt when trying to use a regular crochet hook. I have a full set of these and managed to lose my H size so I had to order a replacement. They fit my large hands well and feel warm.
