Review on CLOVER Soft Touch 5.0-mm Crochet Hooks - Size H (1008/H) by Summer Hendricks

I wanted to love this Clover hook but I don't. It's three times the price of my ergonomic Boye hook and not as comfortable. The shaft is made of hard plastic and the "depreciation" is negligible. The stem is about an inch shorter than my Boye's, which means the hard plastic end rests against my palm every time I tug on the strap. I've tried holding the hook in a variety of ways to alleviate this problem, but to no avail. The second issue is with the hook itself. This is supposed to be a 5mm H hook but should be smaller than Boye's. I use Michaels pristine Loops & Threads yarn, which recommends the H hook, but this clover hook skips stitches like crazy. I don't have this problem with my 5mm Boye.
