I've been knitting with metal needles but a friend suggested I try bamboo so I bought this pair but I won't be buying Clover Bamboo again. I got the felt smooth except for the roughness at the tip of one of the needles. I had to hand sand it down a bit and still got a small splinter while knitting - not that much fun.
