Love it. for knitting and crocheting

Lightweight and easy to use. I find bamboo to be a lot easier to work with than metal because it offers the right amount of resistance.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Hard to find size/length

Clover bamboo needles are so light and strong! Finding the right size sweater or blanket is difficult. The cable did not kink like circular needles.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Almost everything is available

I am SO glad I bought this

I have never used bamboo circular knitting needles but I am knitting a large blanket and cannot find any other 48 inch needles. bought them! They are lightweight, very smooth to use but not slippery like plastic needles which can cause the stitches to slip off. I figured I might need more bamboo in the sizes I use most. Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • socket required

Happy customer

Very happy with these brochures. I'm a longtime fan of Takumi. I was working on knitting a large round blanket and crumple towards the end but after switching the project to these very long needles the project became a lot easier to manage. The yarn slides easily over the bamboo/plastic connection. Having already done most of the project, I didn't think to heat the circles to loosen the curl of the plastic. Luckily, the weight of the project helped keep the circles from getting too twisted.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

It's just annoying. Plus

I'm new to knitting and crocheting so this is my first time using wooden needles - I'm not a fan. Bamboo holds the yarn so tightly you have to pull each stitch off while pulling new stitches together . You're just annoying. Also, I worry that they will snag on the tiny fibers of the yarn and make it less smooth. Maybe wood/bamboo is good for beginners just starting out to keep the yarn from slipping off, but in my opinion they are annoying. I'll give them one last shot at a throw blanket, but…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
