Clover Needlecraft Soft Touch Crochet Hook Bundle with Artsiga Crafts Stitch Holder - Size H8/5mm, 1008/H Review

Head broke off after just a day of use. Unfortunately, the form worked perfectly until it just broke and flew.

I have been using Boye since I started crocheting over 20 years ago. Didn't think to update my hooks. Recently got into crocheting 🤪 I have ordered Clover soft touch, Clover amour and Etimo Tulip. The soft touch is very smooth, light and glides well, but it's too short for my hand. My favorite is Clover Amour.

There's nothing physically wrong with it, but it's excruciatingly slow to work with. The hook part is not very sharp. Its lightweight plastic causes far more tension to push awkwardly through each stitch and then stop when it's done. Does not help. I usually grab the hook much higher than where they place the fancy handle. It just doesn't suit me at all.

I would give this hook more than 5 stars if I could. The hook is simply fantastic, feels good in the hand and is also quite heavy. I've never had my hands on this crochet hook while using it and it very rarely catches on scrap yarn when pulling stitches through. I just can't say enough on this subject. I sincerely recommend it.
