Made from quality materials and the size is pretty good for my 13lb cats. However, the design is lacking in two areas: 1- the grille on the sides needs to be higher so that the cat can comfortably see outside when it lies down 2- the transparent bubble in the front needs holes for fresh air and to avoid fog

We have three kittens ranging in size from kitty to maine coon monster and each of them fit perfectly and comfortably in this thing. One after the other of course. I'm glad we spent a bit more on this one, even the fancy box it came in got used to it. Our cats travel all the time so safety measures are not required, although with one kitten we use a strap inside which is very nice. The color and quality are impressive, everyone who sees it loves this item and wants the same.

My new 6 month old rescue kitten has had a difficult start in life and is afraid of just about everything. Happy to report that he LOVES his backpack! He wouldn't even consider infiltrating other carriers without a fight. Sometimes I find him lying inside, like in a bed. He's a tiny 6 pound kitten so there's plenty of extra room inside. I'm glad he has plenty of room to grow and be happy for years to come. Thank you for making a great product!

I have yet to give a final review as my cat actually used this but it arrived very quickly! Well made, it comes in a really nice oversized box with handles like a bag and very well packaged. Came in perfect condition and looks just like the picture, can't wait to use it outside! I bought this so we can take our cats (well, one at a time!) for a walk in the park or forest. The carrier is roomy and very well built. Our largest cat is about 13 pounds and has plenty of space. The fact that it has an internal cord with a clip for attaching to a cat's harness makes it the best choice for vet visits. Compared to traditional transport boxes, the cat is much easier to get in and out. Also, it takes up less space in the car and can be fixed. The only downside is that it's heavy.
