Pros

Cons
  • Limited Compatibility: The Club Car DS Golf Cart Transmission Shift Cable is only compatible with models manufactured between 1984 and 1997, limiting its usefulness for newer golf carts

The product look great but unfortunately the threads and ball sockets are metric the factory on the golf car are SAE I had to modify both ball socket ends with a die grinder to fit on the SAE studs that are Factory on the golf car

Pros
  • Worked perfect
Cons
  • Fragile Construction: The cable is crafted from flimsy materials that are prone to wear and tear, making it more susceptible to damage and deformation over time

When it comes to a product like the Club Car DS Golf Cart Transmission Shift Cable, one would expect seamless performance and longevity, especially since it's an OEM product by TARAZON. However, I have a mixed bag of experiences to share. On the one hand, the 63" length of the cable fits perfectly for the 1984-1997 Club Car DS golf cart models, making it easy to install. The cable itself also feels sturdy and well-built, providing confidence in its durability. On the other hand, I found that…

Pros

With a 63" length, it is a perfect fit model for 1984-1997 DS golf carts, replacing the OEM numbers 1012326, 1013085, 1018510-02. The construction of this shift cable ensures that it can withstand the harsh conditions of a golf course, empowering you with remarkable durability and precision
Cons
  • Price Inflation

Keep your old ends!

Cable fit our 2002 club car fine, but the Chinese must be using a faulty measuring device as the new ends would not fit on the balls. Definitely not cut big enough. Spent a half hour with channel locks trying to squeeze the ball in the new ends. Got smart and took the old ends off the broken cable and swapped them out. Cable fits and works.

Pros
  • Precise and Smooth Shifts
Cons
  • The cable measures only 63 inches, which may not be long enough to meet the needs of some users. This may make it unsuitable for golfers who require a longer or more flexible cable for maneuvering their golf carts
