CMT 03 51 0049A Interchangeable Bushings 2 Inch Review

These are great for trimmer organization. Now I can quickly find the right bit. I don't have the rusting problem with these bushings that I had with wood. The price was right and the free shipping was good too.

I did not purchase this for use in your rack. I made a custom bit holder to fit my router table, but I didn't like the idea of just wood bits. humidity and such. so using a 3/4" forstner bit i drilled the holes and they fit perfectly in the holes, no glue was needed and the bits are easy to insert and remove.

They grip the bit shanks very tightly. Almost too much. This is fine with my large diameter record lifter bits as you can easily pick them up and unscrew them from the holders, but small diameter bits (like 1/4" straight) are very difficult to remove. Since my trays are in the box and the bits don't fall to the ground I now only use these sockets for the big bits, the small ones sit right in the holes of the shell and are spaced far enough apart that they don't hit each other when the Box…
