They work but save you money, they're cheap and they're not afraid to show it. The only adjustment is the cable, the lever itself has no adjustment and is poorly secured. When I hit bumps without putting my hand on the brake lever, it rattles loudly. Spend the extra cash on better gear. I'm disappointed.

They were good for the price with modification. The problem was that the slot in the body of the cable pull arm wasn't cut all the way through, making it impossible to quickly detach the cable. I needed the levers ASAP so I just attached them to the grinder to make them work. Except for this hiccup. Everything was great!

Bought these brake levers for a repair I was doing on a beach cruiser. Very nice surface finish, fully adjustable metal barrel brake adjusters, and extra cables saved me some money on cable purchases. Installed the brakes and felt great. For the price it is very good and even more so. Highly recommended for all cantilever and V-brake configurations.

These brake levers are a lot better quality than I expected. I bought a used Trek and the existing brake levers were rusty and my eyes hurt. They were a good price and came with a cord. I had a hard time cutting the end piece to cut the front brake cable but they were very easy to install and pretty good quality. You really deserve a star. After all, they are brake levers. They are wrong about almost every other statement in the list. The metal is cheap. When you insert a screw into a threaded hole, the metal will appear grainy rather than smooth like a high quality piece. Barrel adjusters have the same problem, but since they're also made of poor quality aluminum, they stick and the locknuts on the adjusters stick too. I oiled the threads, that made it better but it's still there. I suspect this…
