Seems pretty good. but not sure yet. Just put it on a dog. She weighs 34 pounds and 18 inches fits great. The color is light orange. I thought it was more of a brownish wheat color.

This collar is worth every penny. So appropriate for great craftsmanship, look and feel. Increase the size. Our dog seems to appreciate the smaller collar size. It should be more comfortable than the standard width. Highly recommended!

Well made collar and perfect fit! I have gone through several collars with my husky, he either broke them or chewed them and then took them off. We sat anxiously waiting for someone to call (via our chip) and say he was fine. But after purchasing this collar, we had no more escapes or worries!

This is not a real turtleneck. There is a mark that makes it look sewn but the part that lies on the neck is rough and looks like plasticine. Doesn't look like real leather at all. My dog had it for three days and he poked around a lot. I'll look for a better substitute and hope it's a more natural material, not plastic.

When I bought this collar I was looking for a twisted leather collar like my other one where the outer part of the leather fully encloses the central, firmer piece of leather. Not this collar. It seems very cheap, the higher quality leather only encases about half of the filling leaving a few sharp spots on the filling facing the dog's neck. Wouldn't recommend it.

Very impressed with the quality and quality of the leather this collar is made from. A lot considering the price I paid for it. Especially if you went to one of the big pet stores and appreciated a similar collar. They are usually DOUBLE the price and the leather is no better. I have ordered two of these collars (red and red) for my dogs and I love them. These are high quality leather collars, durable, well made, beautiful and (I think) comfortable for my dogs. I have two 45 lb dogs and the 18 inch size fits both. One of the two dogs has a skin allergy and is very sensitive to collars. We have tried nylon, cotton, hemp and this leather collar seems much more comfortable to her. There is enough space on the carabiner for two pendants and a leash.

Superb quality. The only issue was the fit - our 9 month old golden retriever's neck measured 17 inches. Most reviews say that 2" is too big, but I took a chance and ordered the 18" X-Large length - the 20" seemed too big to me. And I was right (or rather lucky) - the 18" collar fits perfectly. With a snug fit (I can fit two fingers under the collar), there are still 2 punched holes for expansion. If he continues to grow I will happily buy the next size up and think it's a good money…

I just took my dog and went to a few 'famous' pet stores to buy everything I needed before bringing her home and was shocked to find that even the cheapest standard-look nylon collar cost more than $10-15. .
